Hi. i am jonathan briggs. i am a 65 year old retired officer from arizona. i have 10 grandchildren and 3 children. my wife has long since gone. i just retired last week, and now all i do is tend my flower bed. 24/7 that’s all i do apart from eating and sleeping. retirement isn’t all its cracked up to be. so now, i do this blog.

i am blogging to spend time doing something. after tending my flowers, there’s not much left to do here at home. my son taught me how to blog. he suggested to me that i write down my memoirs here. at first i was hesitant to show my memoirs to the world, but my son can be rather persistent so here i am.
